CANEX Create-Thon 2026

Overview Pan-African creative technology competition for Gaming, Video and Music. Participants use DALA Studio AI technology during a four-day build sprint to turn African-inspired creative ideas into working projects, with continental exposure and a finalist showcase at CANEX Weekend 2026 in Lagos. The programme includes access to a US$50,000 prize pool, AI build tools, mentorship and industry exposure. Eligibility Open to African creators, innovators and builders living on the continent and in the diaspora. Applicants may apply as individuals in Gaming, Video or Music and must be 18 or older. Suitable participants include game developers, musicians, producers, filmmakers, video creators, designers, digital artists, developers, creative technologists, AI builders, startups and multidisciplinary teams. Submitted work must be original and built during the official Create-Thon sprint.
