Pan African AI Summit Hack-AI-Thon 2026

Overview Applications are open for the Pan African AI Summit Hack-AI-Thon 2026, a pitch and innovation challenge for AI-powered solutions across Africa. Forty teams will compete across six sector tracks: fintech and inclusive finance, agritech and food systems, healthtech, edtech and skills, climatetech and sustainability, and African languages and cultural AI. The pathway includes online screening, shortlist announcements, founder day, and live finals on the main Pan African AI Summit stage at Kempinski Hotel in Accra, Ghana. Selected teams get investor visibility, expert judging, mentorship, training support, and a chance to win a cash prize. Eligibility Open to registered companies or working teams with a working prototype, MVP, or in-market product where AI or machine learning is a core part of the solution. Applicants should have an African founder, African market, or African problem focus. Previous PAAIS Award winners may not compete again. Applications require a two-minute video pitch, one-page summary, and product links.
