About this opportunity

Applications are open for Cohort 4.0 of the Precision Agriculture Incubation Program (PAIP), a six-week, hands-on programme from Precision Field Academy. PAIP is designed for young people who want practical skills for careers and ventures at the intersection of agriculture and technology. The programme covers drone technology, geographic information systems, smart agriculture tools, research, enterprise development, data-driven solutions and practical sessions. Precision Field Academy states that the programme is backed by a globally accredited certification. The call is open to young professionals aged 16 to 35, both within and outside Africa. Agriculture students and young professionals seeking careers in agricultural technology are encouraged to apply, and women are particularly encouraged. The official application form asks applicants to describe their institution or organisation, course or area of specialisation, current career stage, experience in agriculture and digital technology, and areas of interest. Applicants must also explain the agricultural problem they want to address, why they want to join PAIP, the skills they hope to develop, where they will apply the knowledge and the measurable change they aim to achieve after the programme. Selected participants are asked to pay a commitment fee of ₦5,000 or US$5. The application form states that this fee is linked to participation and certification. Submission does not guarantee selection. Applications close on 5 October 2026. The organiser has not stated a closing time, so applicants should submit early.

Who should consider it
