timbuktoo Launchpad Pan-African Incubation Network

Overview UNDP's timbuktoo Launchpad connects technology-driven African startups with accredited incubators and a pan-African support platform powered by Seedstars. The programme is designed to help ventures strengthen their business foundations, improve investment readiness and scale solutions for African markets. Support offered Participating startups receive structured incubation, mentor matching, learning resources, progress tracking, AI-supported guidance and access to a continental network of founders, incubators, investors and ecosystem partners. Eligible sectors may include FinTech, AgriTech, HealthTech, ClimateTech, EdTech, CreativeTech, MineTech and ManuTech, depending on the available cohort. Application timing Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with startups admitted through quarterly cohorts. Applicants should confirm which thematic cohort is currently accepting submissions before applying.

Applicants should be African technology startups, or startups building for African markets, with a prototype or minimum viable product, a committed founding team, a clearly defined problem and credible potential to grow. Women-led ventures, youth entrepreneurs and founders from underserved communities are particularly encouraged.
