Villgro Africa Business Incubation Program

Overview Villgro Africa's rolling incubation programme supports African healthcare and life-science innovators as they build scalable businesses serving poor and vulnerable communities. The programme combines hands-on technical support, industry mentors, a dedicated portfolio manager and a customised growth plan. Support offered Selected ventures receive help to validate and refine their business model, develop a route to market, build brand awareness, prepare for investment and connect with Villgro Africa's investor network. Applications are reviewed through an initial application, due diligence, interviews, an updated presentation and final selection. Application timing Villgro Africa accepts applications on an ongoing basis.

Applicants should have a multidisciplinary team with at least one technical co-founder, a defined problem-solution fit, evidence of product-market fit, a working minimum viable product, validated market demand and a clear revenue model. At least one founder should be committed full time, and the innovation should have the potential to scale and improve the lives of resource-poor communities.
